Timber Construction

The Yakka Cloud Bed features a predominantly solid Tasmanian Oak timber structure, designed for strength and longevity. Select upholstered components incorporate solid pine structures and pine slats to support comfort, form, and durability.

Rest easy with a lifetime structural warranty, backed by rigorous testing of the Yakka Bed’s strong timber base. Tested up to 1000kg, it is engineered to remain stable, supportive, and creak-free for life.

All Yakka Beds are packaged using environmentally conscious materials, utilising recyclable cardboard only and eliminating polystyrene to reduce landfill waste.

Materials

Bed Frame:

  • Solid Tasmanian Oak timber components, with upholstered sections supported by solid pine structures

Slats:

  • Made from structural-grade, furniture-grade solid pine timber
  • Each slat is oversized at 90x35mm
  • Tested to support weights up to 1000kg

MAINTENANCE & CARE

No product needs to be used for general cleaning on timber. Use a damp microfibre cloth to wipe off any dust and residue. For a deeper clean, use natural diluted soap on a soft and clean microfibre cloth to clean up any grease or harder to clean spills and follow up with a damp clean microfibre cloth leaving no traces of soap behind. Always test on a small area first. Optional 5 year accidental cover
