1 Order, 1 Tree
Here at The Acacia Tree all of our Australian hardwood products use timber from Australia’s sustainably-managed and PEFC certified temperate forests
Our local timber suppliers are Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC-C113479) Chain of Custody certified for any imported timbers from Scientific Certification Systems - one of the world’s leading FSC® certifiers.
Sustainability is also achieved through compliance with the provisions of the Forest Practices Code and the Tasmanian Forests Agreement (TFA). You can buy with confidence, knowing our locally made products are sourced in line with the Tasmanian Forests Agreement (TFA).
OUR COMMITMENT
Crafted with our forests in mind.
RESPONSIBLY SOURCED
From trusted forests to your home.
At The Acacia Tree, we carefully select timber from suppliers who share our commitment to responsible forestry and sustainable practices.
Our Australian hardwoods come from PEFC-certified, sustainably managed forests where environmental care is maintained throughout harvesting and supply.
For imported materials, we work with FSC® Chain of Custody certified suppliers to ensure full traceability and ethical sourcing.
This approach supports responsible forest management while allowing us to create furniture that is built to last and produced with respect for the environment.
SUSTAINABLY HARVESTED
Protecting forests for future generations.
Our timber is sourced through forestry practices that focus on long-term environmental health and natural regeneration.
These methods help protect biodiversity, maintain healthy ecosystems, and ensure forests continue to thrive well into the future.
We partner with suppliers who meet recognised forestry standards, ensuring every stage of harvesting is carefully managed and accountable.
The result is timber that balances environmental responsibility with the strength and quality required for lasting furniture.
